Food Drives

One of the many services that Prince of Peace participates in is helping provide food for Cooperating Ministry of Logan County’s food bank. Donations for food are always needed and can be dropped off at Prince of Peace during Sunday worship or at the Cooperating Ministry Office at 230 N. 10th Ave. in Sterling, Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm.

Cooperating Ministry of Logan County provides temporary services to those in need, including food, clothing, emergency shelter, rental and utilities assistance, transportation and auto repair assistance. Based in Sterling, the ministry was founded in 1981 through a consortium of several Logan County churches, including Prince of Peace Episcopal.

Prince of Peace Church continues to support Cooperating Ministry with food drives coordinated with Loaves and Fishes Sunday, Christmas Food Baskets, and other food drives to help stock their food pantry throughout the year.

Cooperating Ministry is our first place of referral for people who are in need of basic comforts such as food, shelter and clothing.
